Contemporary art has always featured at the heart of Aubin. At one stage we had our very own Aubin Gallery above our store and cinema on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch.
So, when October comes around, as well as diving into Wool Month with gusto, we get jolly excited about the arrival of Frieze London. Freize showcases works by both established and emerging artists from leading galleries around the world.
No better time we thought to reach out to some of our Friends of Aubin involved in the world of British contemporary art here in London. Our own exploration of why, rather like the music scene, Britain is so renowned around the world for leading the way in the contemporary art space.
