Everything we do at Aubin is inspired by British heritage and cultural identity. Primarily, but not exclusively, inspired by post war British design and cultural references which interest and excite us. We work hard to create products which whilst inspired by history are very much contemporary and relevant to today.
Our references and inspiration come from our large archive of vintage garments, imagery and furniture based at our design studio in London. But we are proud to make this look back to yesteryear relevant to today and unique to us by adding our own contemporary point of view. Often this point of view is influenced by the wide network of creative talent across film, music, sport and design that we work with in our Friends of Aubin programme.

It’s not a revolutionary idea: we believe clothes should last. So, everything we make is made well. Our garments won’t date in style or fall apart, but rather get better over the years. Our designs are inspired by the past, but remain highly relevant for today’s world.
We insist on quality while evaluating the impact of our processes. It’s our mission to make the best item for the best price, producing the right clothes, not more clothes. We want every Aubin item to be lived in, put through its paces, mended and passed down.
working with experts
We build strong relationships with all of our manufacturing partners, choosing them on the basis of their knowledge and expertise. We work with factories and mills across the globe, but always endeavour to source as close to home as possible. Responsible manufacturing is key and we only partner with makers where sustainability is a priority. All our garment packaging is made from recycled materials and can be recycled again, and we’re trying to remove virgin plastic from all of our processes. Our inventory is kept small, prices fair and transparent.
