Since 2008, we have been making authentic garments with integrity because we firmly believe that Better is Greater Than More.
Aubin clothing is inspired by the past, but uses modern design and manufacturing techniques along with long standing partnerships within the clothing industry to create timeless garments that won’t date or deteriorate. That’s better for our community and better for the planet.
OUR PRODUCT CIRCLE
Even the most hard-wearing and cherished item of clothing can get damaged over time or simply fall into the un-loved pile. As the people who made it we believe it’s important to do what we can to extend the life of our garments. Whether it’s through our repair scheme or donation programme, we want to do what we can to keep our clothing on your backs or, if not, responsibly rehomed or recycled.
WHAT WE OFFER
If your Aubin product meets our 365-day quality guarantee, you may be entitled to our free repair service. Please contact your nearest standalone Aubin store or our Customer Care team by submitting a claim found here. We will then endeavour to repair the item at no cost to yourself where possible. For repair or maintenance services outside of our guarantee please contact us to discuss and we can arrange your repair through our repair partners. We will obtain a quote from our repair partners and can arrange shipping for your products to/from them.
Our repair service
We have partnered with expert tailors local to our stores in London, Edinburgh and Salcombe to carry out our repair services. We want our customers to receive the best care possible to lengthen the life of their garments and these small tailoring businesses have far more experience at this than we do!
Our repair timescales vary depending upon the exact nature of what is required, as well as the wear and tear of your item. We will of course do our best to make it as seamless a process as possible, taking the time needed but making it a priority to return the garment to you as soon as possible. With that in mind, the process may take anything from 2-4 weeks. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
DONATE YOUR UNWANTED AUBIN PIECES
Our clothing is designed to withstand the test of time, but if you have Aubin pieces that you no longer want, please return them to us so we can continue their journey.
We have partnered with the charity clothing retailer TRAID to ensure that any unwanted Aubin clothing will either find a new loving home or will be responsibly recycled through one of their recycling initiatives. TRAID have 12 charity shops across London where they take pride in their curated rails. Each sale in one of these stores goes towards TRAID’s many charity partnership projects around the world making the clothing industry better for people and the environment.
As a specialist clothing charity, they meticulously hand sort every donation they receive, cleaning, repairing, reselling or in some particularly sad cases recycling. So, whether you have an item with unrepairable damage, a mini wool jumper that’s been shrunk in a tumble drier or an item that still looks great but just isn’t your thing anymore please click below to follow our simple Reclamation process.
