Aubin was first established in 2008. Originally launched as the elder sibling to the brand’s former stable mate, Jack Wills. The Aubin brand is still independently owned by its original founder Peter Williams and is run by a small, highly experienced, multi-skilled team who are passionate about producing truly authentic, timeless menswear garments.
We have three beautiful stand-alone stores, one in the heart of Soho’s Carnaby district, One in the creative melting pot of Edinburgh and our newest addition Brighton is situated on East Street, a stones throw away from the beach and opposite the entrance to the East Lanes.
There is a rapidly growing number of concessions within the John Lewis group of department stores as well as the Fenwick group .

The Role…
As an Aubin Sales Assistant you will have responsibility for delivering a fantastic customer experience based on knowledge of our lovely product and a desire to talk with our customers about it in a way that will help them to feel looked after. You will also need to support the delivery of the brand’s visual expectations and standards.
You will need to become an ambassador for the brand’s culture both in your appearance and behaviour and will be expected to contribute to your team’s standards.
Role in Detail...
- Influence and increase sales in a one to one selling environment
- Build the bond between our brand and our customer by answering queries, providing exemplary service and adapting your approach depending on individuals’ personalities and needs
- Have a deep understanding of our product style, fit, shape and availability
- Support delivery of visual standards
- Processing of delivery and replenishing concession
- Contribute towards concession feedback regarding stock performance
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all, ensuring a high level of housekeeping
- Seek development and training of own skills set to continually improve performance
- You will be a Brand Ambassador, representing Aubin both visually and behaviourally at all times

Key Responsibilities:
- Community Building: Foster a sense of community and loyalty among Aubin & Wills customers through engagement initiatives, events, social media interactions & personal shopping within the local area and wider London
- B2B Collaboration: Curate a network of partnerships with local retail and hospitality that compliment Aubin with the view of increasing brand reach, awareness and sales
- Brand Representation: Serve as a living embodiment of the Aubin & Wills brand, showcasing our products and lifestyle in a compelling and authentic manner.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers in-store, providing exceptional service, product knowledge, and style advice to build lasting relationships.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest product offerings and communicate their unique features and benefits to customers effectively.
- Sales and Targets: Achieve sales targets while delivering an unparalleled shopping experience.
- Feedback and Insights: Provide valuable feedback and insights to the management team to enhance product offerings and customer experiences.
- Implementation of visual guidelines provided by Creative Team
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for men's fashion and the Aubin & Wills brand.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Active client book that would work alongside the Aubin & Wills brand
- Proven networking ability external to the brand
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to style outfits.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
