MODERN. BRITISH CHRISTMAS

There are many highlights to an Aubin Christmas, but none more so than the entirety-of-December which is one long (deeply enjoyable) marathon run in of parties, boozing and just all round merriment. It requires a highly-trained stamina to navigate your way through the party season without picking up more than just the odd flesh wound. But spare a thought for the unsung heroes who make it all happen.

The party palaces don’t just organise themselves. The staff, the food, the drinks, the decorations. It all takes prodigious creative talent and lorry loads of hard graft. And for these heroes, the Christmas Party Season really is an ultra marathon. With the finish line not coming into sight until the first days of January.

With that in mind, this season we thought it only fair and proper to pull back the curtain and celebrate some great Friends of Aubin who are hosts and maître d's from our favourite Christmas venues around Britain. And the butchers and fruit & veg traders who are up well before dawn every day, working hard to supply the mountains of finest produce that adorn our Christmas lunch tables.

So as you prepare to go large at your office Christmas party this month, spare a thought for these hard working legends. The real Christmas Elves who make it all happen.
