FRIENDS OF

HIGH GRADE COFFEE

The Coffee guys

We love to meet like minded people who make a living from what they enjoy, people who get a kick out of doing things really well. So we spent a morning at High Grade Coffee at the Truman Brewery on Londons's Brick Lane with founders Stevie and Liam to talk through all things coffee.

"High Grade is in essence a coffee shop with delusions of grandeur, run by hopelessly enthusiastic, overly familiar nerds who like things to be really, really.......Nice"

Liam and Stevie started out 5 years ago with the dream of owning one of those "hidden gems of the beaten track" What began on a bench in a London courtyard eventually made it to a soft top gazebo, then a hard top gazebo and finally they built a cabin. They now source and roast their own beans and make their own delicious food. But the dreams of making "a damn fine cup o'coffee" remain unchanged. And boy can they do that and put the world to rights while you wait. And if that lovely dollop of personality and friendly smile doesnt have you sold, their resident Dacshy, Louie definately will.

Liam and Stevie are artisan coffee makers who believe in "Quailty minus the faff" - our kind of people. They can be found at High Grade most days laughing, singing, dancing and chewing people's ears off about how cool coffee is. Go and say hello if your in the neighbour hood.
