THE AUBIN ARMS

PIE NIGHT

PIE NIGHT WITH CALUM FRANKLIN

Chef Calum Franklin takes a look around the new Aubin store in Soho, he wears a Navy Maltby Worker Jacket, Frodingham Jeans and a Red Lysaghts Steelworkers Wool Overshirt.

To honour our long-awaited relaunch of Aubin we held a range of unique events to celebrate British craft. Coinciding with a two-week takeover of much loved London pub, The White Horse, we transformed the pub into The Aubin Arms making it our home to host the Best of British.

And what better way to champion great British craft in a great British pub than by inviting esteemed pastry chef, Calum Franklin to host a pie night. Franklin, who’s currently Executive Head Chef at the Holborn Dining Room’s Pie Room, amazed the room by creating an assortment of entrées, along with his world-famous decorative pies. For the event, he intricately adorned his renowned pies with handcrafted foxes, to commemorate our return. The delicious pies were evidently a real crowd pleaser to all our special guests from the media industry.

Franklin has gained his position as one of the UK’s most successful chefs, becoming well-known for creating unique pies and holding a wealth of culinary experience. Further to training at Michelin-starred Chapter One, he has worked at a range of renowned restaurants including, The Ivy, Aurora at the Andaz Hotel and Indigo at One Aldwych Hotel, amongst many more.

It is a night that will be etched into our memories as combining the ultimate Aubin ingredients. We take great pleasure in championing such a gifted chef, so thoroughly embodying our own brand pledge to be the best at what we do.
